Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences. She has experience working with clients ages 15-85 who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, major life transitions, LGBTQIA+ related concerns and other significant experiences.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, EMDR and psychodynamic techniques. She creates a uniquely tailored therapy experience, with emphasis on identifying and harnessing your individual strengths and needs.

She has facilitated both group and individual therapy in a variety of different settings including private practice, acute psychiatric facilities, Veterans hospitals, substance abuse treatment centers and college counseling programs.

She aims to provide clients with concrete, valuable tools, as well as a greater understanding into their behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that contribute to self-defeating patterns, limiting beliefs and conflicted relationships. She provides a safe and open environment to explore new ways of living that promote growth, self-compassion and confidence.
