I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, along with a Master of Arts in Divinity from the University of Chicago.
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and the challenges of major life transitions and questions of identity.
I have a particular passion for working with young adults finding their footing in the world, individuals navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and people who want their faith, spirituality, or search for meaning to be part of their healing.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and somatic, body-based approaches.
I am trained in TIST and Motivational Interviewing, and bring experience from hospital-based partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, where I designed and led a dual diagnosis program for young adults. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, pairing practical tools for steadying the nervous system with deeper exploration of the stories, beliefs, and relationships that shape who we become.
I believe that many of the struggles that bring people to therapy began as ways of surviving pain that never received the care it needed. Rather than treating ourselves as broken, we can learn to meet every part of ourselves with curiosity and compassion, and to understand what our symptoms have been trying to protect. My goal is to help clients move from simply getting through each day toward lives shaped by their values, with a clearer sense of who they are and a deeper capacity for connection and meaning. I consider the therapeutic relationship a sacred trust, and it is a privilege to walk alongside each person on their path.
